Blum Independent School District

The Ladycat Volleyball team had a wonderful season this year. Ending the year with 2nd place in their district and advancing on to the playoffs, the Ladycats did more than was expected of them. The girls started off a little rocky and were not on their toes, however when district play began the Ladycats kicked it in to gear and finished in second place. The first round of playoffs the ladycats played the Gustine Lady Tigers and became Bi-District champions. In the second round the Ladycats took on the Woodson Cowgirls and were defeated. Losing only three seniors, the ladycats will be a tough team to face in the upcoming season. The new season will kick off with the Annual Alumni scrimmage hosted by the Varsity in the New Gym on Friday, August 8th!
